May 2025: The annual Miami Spa Months kick off this July 1st and run through August 31st, opening the doors to some of the most luxurious pampering spots in the city, from marble-clad Turkish hammams to medspas with the latest and greatest in laser resurfacing technologies. Ahead of this sacred era of discounted treatments, we’ve updated and streamlined our guide to Miami’s best spas, so that the hardest part of your self-care journey is deciding between a lymphatic facial or a full-body scrub. See you in the steam room!

Miami is a pampered city, figuratively and literally. There are endless perks that come with living in a town that touts so many incredible hotels and resorts, and one of those is access to world-class spas. Here, you can wrap yourself in 24-karat gold, clear your chakras through bodywork and celestial alignment, exfoliate with decadent Florida sugar scrubs or sweat it out in a rustic, rough-hewn wood sauna. If there’s an up-and-coming treatment, rest assured you can find it here—otherwise, your next Swedish massage is probably just a block or two away. From Miami Beach to Coral Gables, these standalone spots and ultra-luxe hotel destinations are the best spas in Miami to feel relaxed, rejuvenated and absolutely amazing.

Leave it to Ian Schrager to design a spa that feels both sacred and sexy. Entering the lounge, you'll be tempted to sink into the sofa with a glass of champagne and relax a while, even with the sun shining over the pools outside. The Spa at the Miami Beach EDITION offers a wealth of opulent offerings, like 24K gold scrubs, CBD massages and customized facials with enhancements like a Knesko collagen mask and LED light therapy.

Time Out tip: Plan to spend some time in the Relaxation Lounge, a dim and sexy spot to unwind before and after your treatments. The staff will offer you spa water or tea—and even bring you a glass of champagne or martini, should the mood strike.

Treatment we loved: The menu is extensive, but if you're feeling overwhelmed by options, book "Your EDITION Signature Massage," which starts at $225 for 50 minutes of bespoke therapy performed with the aroma and pressure of your choice. Mine included some much-needed stretching after a tough week at the gym.

The recently renovated spa at The Standard is an adults-only hydrotherapy playground boasting a Turkish-style hammam, aroma steam room, hemlock sauna, ice room, Roman waterfall hot tub, arctic plunge, treatment baths and an infinity pool—inviting a full day (or days) of supreme relaxation. The entire property invites you to chill hard, from the laid-back midcentury lobby to the lushly manicured tropical gardens and breezy waterfront restaurant, Lido Bayside.

Time Out tip: If you're not a hotel guest, you'll need to spend at least $125 on your spa treatments to gain access to the pool and hydrotherapy circut during the week (Monday through Thursday) and $225 during weekends (Friday through Sunday)—trust us, it's worth it.

Treatment we loved: The Urban Warrior Ritual is great for those who put their bodies through the grinder, while a Sound Healing Massage gets your mind and muscles in check. Therapies run the gamut, from astrology readings to celestial alignment and acupuncture, and some treatments are on special during weekdays.

The Carillon is the largest spa and wellness facility on the East Coast, so trust us when we say their lineup of offerings is impressive. Here, you’ll find the créme de la créme of anti-aging skincare, from an ultrasound-powered non-surgical facelift to treatments that use LED technology, cryotherapy and collagen energy. The Carillon boasts one of the country’s largest thermal hydrotherapy circuits, a holistic center for traditional Chinese medicine and a number of problem-targeted health retreats throughout the year.

Time Out tip: A day pass to the Carillon includes access to the Thermal Hydrotherapy Circuit, Cabana Pool, beach loungers, towel and umbrella service, plus complimentary valet starting at $179 on weekdays (Monday to Thursday) and $199 on weekends (Friday to Sunday).

Treatment we loved: To dip a toe into Carillon’s vast pool of services, start with a Rejuvenating Message (50 minutes, $209). My treatment began with an almond-orange oil foot exfoliation followed by a warming full-body rubdown with coconut, argan and avocado oils. For a bit of mental self-care, don’t sleep on offerings meant to relieve anxiety and stress, like vibrational and sound therapies, Reiki healing and a weightless saltwater bath.

Dust off your favorite caftan, or simply buy one at the spa’s fashionable boutique and live that “well” life. Set on the third floor of the avant-garde Faena Hotel Miami Beach, this ethereal, 22,000-square-foot sanctuary boasts one of the largest hammams on the East Coast, along with shaman-developed body-healing rituals and treatments.

Time Out tip: Arrive with plenty of time to fill out the extensive intake form which collects your detailed preferences and any relevant health concerns prior to embarking on your treatments.

Treatment we loved: The chakra-balancing day spa package (starting at $500), which takes you on a guided journey through the spa’s ample rooms and amenities with targeted treatments along the way.

Though dripping in history, everything at this iconic property’s spa is modern, airy and effortlessly luxe. In addition to male and female steam rooms, the spa here features a unisex steam room, ideal for quietly mingling with a friend or family member before or after a treatment or a dip in the pool.

Time Out tip: Time your spa day to conclude with a cocktail at the Surf Club’s award-winning Champagne Bar, set in a romantic-tropical space off the lobby with soaring ceilings and views of the beachfront.

Treatment we loved: Feeling jet-lagged, or a tad hungover? The Purifying Scrub and Ginger Body Wrap by Susanne Kaufmann stimulates the skin while improving microcirculation and energy flow. Round out your experience with a visit to the Turkish bath and tea room.

6. Hürrem Hammam Wellness & Spa

You’ll leave this North Miami day spa feeling like an Ottoman Empire royal. The lavish, Turkish-inspired complex is a maze of rough-hewn wood saunas, aromatherapy steam rooms, cold plunges and bucket showers, Himalayan salt rooms and more. The grand centerpiece is the hammam decked in floor-to-ceiling marble and intricate mosaicwork, where you can experience a range of traditional treatments via tailored “Hammam Journey” options.

Time Out tip: Day passes starting at $85 include access to the locker rooms and showers, spa amenities and relaxation areas. The on-site restaurant, Topkapi, offers a well-rounded menu of fresh Mediterranean fare that’s ideal for refueling between spa circuits.

Treatment we loved: I’ve seen scrubs offered at other spas and never really gave them much mind, opting for a massage or facial every time. At Hurrem, it felt like a rite of passage to experience the traditional Turkish cleansing ritual, and I am now a kese convert. Let’s just say I was reborn on the warm marble slab—deeply exfoliated, moisturized and floating on a cloud.

This NYC-imported facial bar with two locations in Miami (Brickell and Coral Gables) boasts an impressive variety of tailored options and friendly, no-nonsense estheticians who offer hyper-focused advice as they perform magic on your visage. More clinical than a spa but far more tranquil than a derm's office, Silver Mirror will leave you and your skin feeling and looking totally refreshed. We especially like the affordable membership options and the ability to pre-select how much (or little) talking happens during your facial.

Time Out tip: Silver Mirror has recently begun offering injectables, including Botox for $12 per unit and Juvederm filler, starting at $799. Eyebrow services are also a newer offering, including brow threading and tinting, starting at $29 each.

Treatment we loved: Since I have dry skin, my go-to is the Seasonal Hydrating Facial, a gently exfoliating treatment that features a customized mask updated each season based on the changing weather and local climate. While I was pregnant, the Sensitive Skin Facial was a miracle-worker against any hormonal flare-ups.

Sana Skin Studio wins our award for Miami's most aesthetic facial spa. The ethos here is mindful, goals-driven facials performed with clean products. The studio space embodies this as well. It's an earthy palette of terracotta hues, linen drapes and dried tropicals dotting an artfully curated retail shop in front. The private treatment rooms double down on the zen vibes: dim lighting and a chill playlist set the scene for your healer to perform their magic—leaving your skin glowy, hydrated and healthy.

Time Out tip: You’ll be feeling super relaxed, but try to tune back into reality for the product recommendations at the end of your treatment, which are tailored to your skin type and all made without any harmful ingredients.

Treatment we loved: The SuperDetox facial (70 minutes, $205) is Sana’s strongest, designed to combat congested skin with a purifying, professional-grade peel, extra extractions, blue light LED therapy and oxygen.

Time Out tip: Be sure to take advantage of the European heat areas, including a Finnish sauna with a Himalayan salt wall, a crystal steam room with color therapy, and Experience Shower with cool arctic and warm Caribbean mists.

Treatment we loved: Available Monday through Friday from noon to 3pm, the Sea Escape package ($315 with tip) includes a soothing 50-minute Inner Calm Massage plus a complimentary spa lunch and access to all the Acqualina Spa amenities for the day.

Time Out tip: They offer three monthly membership levels starting at $89, but anyone can take advantage of Skn's generous monthly specials, which encourage guests to try out something new at a more approachable price.

Treatment we loved: For highly effective skin resurfacing (especially on stubborn acne scars), we aim for quarterly microneedling treatments that boost collagen production for visibly smoother, plumper and glowy skin.

JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort’s sprawling, three-story wellness facility offers a wide range of treatments, from traditional massages and facials to new-wave ones using ingredients like CBD and techniques like holistic lymphatic drainage. Turnberry seamlessly blends traditional methods with oriental medicine and holistic wellness.

Time Out tip: There’s a full-service salon on the bottom floor, so spring in for a blowout before making your way out the door.

Treatment we loved: In an ocean of Miami mani-pedis, âme stands out for its excellent nail services—especially the Fiji Pedicure, which guests consistently rave about. An exfoliating sugarcane scrub follows a soothing, warm coconut milk soak. A nourishing body butter massage on the feet and legs leaves skin soft and moisturized.

  • Coconut Grove

Founded by former model and Miss Colombia, Debbie Castaneda, BaAtala is the on-site wellness club at the Cipriani-backed Mr. C hotel in Coconut Grove. Find an impressive suite of cutting-edge facials, massage therapies and body treatments helmed by one of the world’s leading experts in anti-aging peptides, Pietro Simone. His Signature Organic-Cotton Thread Method is a client favorite facial service, promoting lymphatic drainage, cellular renewal and microcirculation.

Time Out tip: Unlike other hotel spas on this list, you won’t find amenities like a sauna or steam room here, though you will have access to the rooftop pool with a view of the bay.

Treatment we loved: I’m an avid massage-goer, and that didn’t change while I was pregnant. Of the numerous prenatal massages I received, my experience at BaAtala surpassed them all. Rather than gently graze me for 60 minutes, my therapist targeted every aching muscle in my maxed-out body, leaving me feeling relieved, restored and supremely grateful.

If you’re looking to elevate your massage membership but don’t want to break the bank with resort spa pricing, consider The Now Massage. Born in Los Angeles, this fast-growing chain of massage spas is approachable without compromising high-end aesthetics and quality of service. The Now offers four styles of table massages and a variety of add-on treatments tailored to your needs. While you can book à la carte, the best value is a membership.

Time Out tip: A membership to The NOW (starting at $90) makes an excellent gift for anyone in your life who deserves some self-care but might be a little too busy (or lazy) to actually get it on the schedule each month. Your boo will thank you.

Treatment we loved: For the massage, I experienced The Now Signature Swedish-inspired service with a scalp renewal enhancement. It was exactly what I (a tired mom living in a chaotic city) needed. I walked out floating on a cloud, ready to tackle the day.

Following a $5 million renovation in 2020, this 9,540 square-foot luxury wellness and beauty sanctuary on the fourth floor of the W South Beach boasts sprawling locker rooms and eucalyptus-infused limestone steam showers, a sauna, beauty bar and relaxing lounge with amenities like coconut and chlorophyll water and a farm-to-table spa menu. Details like Bluetooth connections in treatment rooms allow guests to stream their own playlists—because nothing ruins a massage like a distractingly bad song.

Time Out tip: Famed Miami yogi Dawn Feinberg of Ahana Yoga recently opened a pop-up studio on the AWAY Spa terrace. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 9am, guests can partake in the W’s Signature Power & Restore Flow, which incorporates yoga postures, gentle movement sequences, breathwork, supported silent meditation and guided relaxation.

Treatment we loved: This spa has gone the extra mile to help couples get deep in their feels. The Bespoke Couples Massage is a luxurious, side-by-side experience in a serene suite, featuring a 60-minute massage followed by extra one-on-one time in a private steam shower with exfoliating scrubs and rich muds.

The treatment menu here is as luxe as it gets. There’s the 24K Gold Wrap, where you’re slathered in a golden sugar scrub and pampered for over 90 minutes with massages from head to toe. Then, get hot and unbothered in the sauna, steam room or whirlpool. With 12 treatment rooms and 14,000 square feet, there’s plenty of room for massages, wellness therapies and more.

Time Out tip: The spa recommends arriving at least 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment to settle in and chill out in the wet area and relaxation lounge.

Treatment we loved: The 24K Gold Wrap is as luxe (and expensive) as it sounds, starting at $400. But it’s an indulgence that’s worth every penny, taking you on a 90-minute journey that includes a full body exfoliation, wrap, scalp massage, Vichy shower and a full body massage with gold shimmer oil application and a touch of hot stones.

16. Face. Brow & Beauty Bar

With three locations (Brickell, Midtown and a new flagship in Downtown), Face. Brow & Beauty Bar is a one-stop glam boutique offering everything from brow shaping and lash lifts to high-tech facials, scalp treatments and even teeth whitening. Founded and led by master brow artist Fatima Rosa, a Miami beauty veteran and partner of the sustainable skincare brand 100 and 1 Cosmetics, the vibe here is luxury meets convenience, with natural and organic skincare used wherever possible.

Time Out tip: Face. Brow & Beauty Bar is opening at Miami Central in June 2025, perfect for the girlies on the go. You'll be able to get a full pampering sesh right at the station, so you'll never miss your train—or a blowout.

Treatment we loved: The head spa experience will be the reason you never wash your own hair again. Following an extensive scalp examination (fellow beauty nerds will love this part), an experienced aesthetician will massage, moisturize and revitalize your strands and scalp, and follow it with one of the best blowouts in Miami.

NIYA isn’t just about a relaxing facial—though you will get that here. It’s a serious medical spa that offers personalized wellness treatments for every guest, think glow-boosting peels, microneedling with PRP, laser surfacing or even a little neuromodulator love (yes, 'tox and fillers are on the menu). They’ve got the tools to lift, smooth, and brighten whatever needs a little extra attention. Helming it all is co-founder Yael Emano, a medical aesthetician with two decades of experience in luxury spas and high-end plastic surgery clinics and an elite client roster.

Time Out tip: If you’re interested in exploring the latest in laser treatment, Niya is the place to do it, since Emano specializes in the latest light therapies, with protocols that target everything from dark spots and skin tightening to butt acne and more.

Treatment we loved: The 90-minute Nourishing NIYA Facial left me with glassy, poreless skin and a newfound appreciation for the words bright and radiant—which, fittingly, is exactly what NIYA means in Sanskrit.
