As if Changi Airport hasn’t already outdone itself, being crowned the world’s best airport in 2025, here comes yet another exciting upgrade. Hot on the heels of construction kicking off for the new Terminal 5, Changi Airport is adding a new stay to its hotel lineup – Hotel Indigo Changi Airport.

The hotel officially broke ground last week, and while it isn’t fully launched yet, here are some tidbits you can expect when it does. The hotel has 255 rooms and is located in the public area of the airport, which means you likely won’t need a boarding pass to book a stay. The hotel is connected to Terminal 2 via a linkway, making it a great option for transit passengers.
Head up to Level 8, the highest floor, and you’ll find a rooftop day club with all-day dining and impressive views of the Changi Airport Control Tower and Jewel. The hotel also houses a bar, gym, and infinity pool.
Nature plays a big part in the design too. A ‘floating forest’ stretches across seven floors, filled with lush tropical plants and hanging epiphytes. The lifts feature glass and timber finishes, giving you a scenic ride to your room.
Hotel Indigo Changi Airport is scheduled to be fully operational by 2028. Stay updated via the Changi Airport website.
