The highlight of Time Out Market Barcelona is undoubtedly the food (and the drinks) but the market has a lot more to offer than just eating and drinking. Its two stages showcase the incredible talent of the city with live performances ranging from intimate concerts to drag shows, as well as DJ sessions and activities for kids. And, as with everything at the Market, it’s all carefully curated by the editorial team at Time Out Barcelona! You’ll find all the Market’s latest events, right here.

Got plans for Sunday mornings? At Time Out Market Barcelona we’ve come up with the perfect way to start the day with energy, creativity and lots of laughter: free kids’ workshops where little ones can have a blast while you enjoy the market. And the best part? It’s free — just make sure to register in advance!

Every Sunday from 11 AM to 1 PM, the Wine Area of the market turns into a little creativity lab, run by the team at Just for you kids, pros at turning free time into fun, educational experiences.

What can you expect? A rotating selection of workshops blending art, crafts and local culture — all designed for kids ready to discover, imagine and get hands-on.

  • Creative Ice Creams (Sunday, June 8): Paper ice creams that are just as fun as they are cool. Cotton, tissue paper and plenty of imagination to create colourful cones with wild toppings.

  • Barcelona on Your Fan (Sunday, June 15): Personalize a traditional fan with iconic Barcelona silhouettes. A creative and useful souvenir to take home — handmade by you!

  • Gaudí’s Dragon (Sunday, June 22): A tribute to the famous Park Güell dragon, recreated with card and colours. Perfect for little fans of Gaudí and his signature mosaic style.

  • The Magic of Paper (Sunday, June 29): Origami for all ages. From animals to airplanes, a fun and simple intro to the art of paper folding.

And the best part? While the kids create, you can grab a coffee, have a bite or wander through the market’s foodie corners. Or stay with them and enjoy some quality time together — that’s what it’s all about!

Looking for a quiet spot to read? Time Out Market is already set for the occasion, with its views of the port, the sun warming the terrace, and the breeze taking the edge off the heat. But on Sunday, June 15, starting at 12 PM, we’re adding an extra touch to make your reading experience more comfortable than ever: cozy chairs, a vermouth in hand, and the support of Editorial Planeta de Libros, who will bring along more than one surprise. It’s the perfect moment to enjoy reading in community, turning pages alongside fellow book lovers.

Can the Time Out Market reading party get any better? Yes—just stick around for more vermouth or a Sunday-worthy lunch at any of the market’s fantastic food spots. Stay tuned! You might even catch another free activity happening during the week.

A bingo game is always entertaining. But if it’s with Bingo Musical para Eventos, a top-notch playlist in the background, and the drag show queen Clover Bish hosting and bringing her flair and the 2000 hits, it transforms into a transcendent experience. And what's more, DJ Xexo will also instal its record player to make you vibe with the music until the end of the night! When? On Sunday, June 23 at 7.30 PM.

Tickets will cost you €6 if you're quick, including a drink (wine, beer, soft drink, or water), but if not, the price goes up to €8 or €10. You can add a special Saint John's Eve menu that won’t let you down.
